Instrument Support Facility & Project Science Support
I began my career at GSFC in 1988, working on attitude and orbit determination for the UARS and EUVE missions. After a stint with the CGRO science support team I got an opportunity to lead the science instrument data evaluation software used to test, validate and calibrate the IRAC instrument now flying on SIRTF. I then became part of the instrument support facility (ISF) for the GLAS laser altimeter on ICESat, and have a similar role as the ISF deputy for ICESat-2, supporting the instrument during its full development cycle of integration and test, launch, and on orbit operations.
