Brian, with GST, LLC., has been a NASA Senior Earth Science Specialist for over two decades, first at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from 2001-2010 and currently at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility since 2010. He develops ICESat-2 educational materials, activities and exhibits, gives many talks and lectures, building on the work he did for the first ICESat mission and other missions within NASA Earth Science. Brian was also the original ICESat-2 Mission Education and Public Outreach Manager from 2003-2010. 

Brian also leads several projects for the GLOBE Program, including the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign and serves as the Trees Science Lead for the GLOBE Observer Citizen Science Program. Both of these projects have a tie-in with the ICESat-2 Mission and tree height observations. 

Brian is also the NASA Earth Science Liaison at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility.
